A brand new building for Stourview CofE Primary Academy is being developed following investment through the Department for Education’s School Rebuilding Programme.
This marks the next stage in establishing Stourview as a new school at the heart of the Mistley community, permanently replacing the current temporary accommodation and the former buildings on the site of Mistley Norman Primary School. The development will deliver a high-quality, purpose-built environment designed around the needs of children both now and into the future.
Rooted in Stourview’s vision of “Nurturing hearts and minds, building futures, the new school building will provide modern, energy-efficient facilities, carefully designed classrooms and specialist spaces that support inclusion, independence and focus, alongside enhanced outdoor areas and a welcoming setting at the centre of the community. Canonium Learning Trust has worked closely with the Department for Education to shape a design grounded in educational excellence and calm, aspirational learning environments. We invite local residents, families and stakeholders to review the proposals and share their views, helping to ensure Stourview becomes a school where every child is supported to flourish and succeed.
We will be sharing exciting updates on the new building very soon
