All children are entitled to 15 hours per week free nursery funding starting the term after they turn 3 years old from Essex County Council. Depending on personal circumstances, some are entitled to 30 hours per week. This funding would be paid directly to the academy on a termly basis if you are entitled. Each term Stourview Academy will then ask you to sign a parent/carer agreement form. Alternatively fees are payable by parents a full term in advance on Arbor.
Information about nursery funding can be found within the Nursery Fees and Funding page (Nursery Funding Guidance) and via the following link: https://eycp.essex.gov.uk/funding/
Once you have submitted an application for your child, if it is for an immediate start and there is a place to offer, the school office will contact you and provide further details and a welcome pack.
If it is for a future start date your child's details will be added to a waiting list. You will be contacted by email the term before your child is due to start at the nursery with further details.
Admissions to Stourview Academy Nursery is an entirely separate process to admissions to the school and does not come under the Stourview Academy Admissions criteria or policy. Admission to the Nursery is not a guarantee and is subject to availability of space on application. Please note that a placement in the Nursery is not a guarantee of a placement in the school.
You are required to provide us with at least one month’s notice of withdrawing your child. If insufficient notice is given you will be responsible for the full fees for your child for one month from the date of notice. Please refer to our terms and conditions for full details.
A final invoice will be issued reflecting the fees chargeable for the remaining period that your child attends, together with any previously invoiced amounts, which remain outstanding. The amount will be debited from your child’s online payment account for immediate payment.
